The MAEF has started the scheme of Gharib Nawaz Employment Scheme for Minorities from the year 2017-18 so that short term job oriented skill development courses may be provided to minorities’ youth in order to enable them for skill based employment. The said scheme was approved by the General Body of MAEF. This scheme is implemented as per common norms issued by the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSD&E) through the empaneled Program Implementation Agencies (PIAs). The Scheme would enable the minorities youths specially school dropouts gain sustainable employment opportunities through skill development courses.
